Tired of "Pay for Early Access" Garbage

Is this just the new standard for every game now? Enough of this bs to try and force every cent out of us, especially when they're already people on YouTube posting 30+ min vids playing this game over a month in advance most likely free of charge. Meanwhile you charge us an extra $30 for 3 days? Absolute joke, this is a yet another scummy practice that has been normalized.

Well, i rather to pay for playing earlier than just having a tee-shirt for a Sabaiman to equip.

We will still pre-order games, so if we are honest, playing earlier is a real thing for the best contributors.

They play with the hype for making money and we can play earlier. I don't really understand your opinion right now.

You can be against pre-order if you want, it's fair.

But you can't disagree playing earlier when you contribute more than others.

I mean,it is garbage when the whole YouTube its filled with spoilers of most of the game, its feels like you bought the early access for nothing because there's a lot of people playing the whole game and some of them didn't even pre-purchased the game, clearly they just care about money doing events and that, like always, but this time I just feel like I bought something to get early access and it just doesn't feel that way because of how much was revealed lately

I know that but bruh, you cannot get into youtube, the miniature of the video is literally a spoiler even if I marked on youtube to not recommend that types of videos, the spoiler comes anyways, its sad that I have to likely dissapear from the social media if I don't want to get spoiled, in instagram I don't see sparking zero nor dragon ball videos and suddenly a reel spoils that goku ui has auto dodge, my man I didn't want to see that, or that ui was going to be a separate character, you get spoiled anyways like it or not, it bothers a little

I bought ultimate and have early access but I bought it cause of the dlcs, beung honest im with OP on this and not because I wouldnt pay to get something earlier... its just that to me it feels not like "ealy" but like the standard is a "late" access, cause if the game is already done by the 7th... then its not early, its in time xD

Youtube algarithm doesnt help 3 day early access by ramming videos about the game in your face potentially spoiling the game with various thumbnails.

I understand people upset about the spoiler part, it can get anoying if you have a game your looking forward to but have to avoid the internet for 3 days to want to enjoy it blind.

I dont think too many people take issue with the buying game early. Reality is its the spoilers that ruin it all.

In my example I'm looking forward to MH wilds and its going to be incredibly difficult to avoid spoilers for it while browsing the net. And that doesnt have an anounced 3 day early access (yet)

The extra 30 is for the season pass. The 3 days early is just a bonus. The extra 40 is for the season pass+some cosmetics and an ultimate wish. The 3 days early is once again, just a bonus. The other bonus is people get early access to the DLC characters before they release as well. So that's also a reason they pay more. I personally paid 110 because these devs deserve the support. They brought back the game from my childhood. (Technically teenage years.)

Yes, it's the new standard. Don't like it? Don't buy the deluxe edition. Easy.

Yes, there're people on YouTube posting videos over a month in advance free of charge. They're advertising the game with content to get other people to buy it. That's modern marketing. Don't like it? Become a content creator, build up a sizable community, and you'll get plenty of games early for free as long as you make videos advertising said game.

There you go. Two options that're more productive than crying about it on their discussion board's acting like people aren't paying $30 for three DLC's and just getting early access on top of that.
