Is there really no online co-op in sparking zero?

My reading comprehension is quite good thanks. When someone says it's up to 5v5 but not in a cooperative sense, someone that doesn't regularly play fighting games isn't going to automatically know what that means. Because logically it doesn't make sense. Even in a fighting game 5v5 against the same person doesn't make sense. But I digress.

Feel free to white knight bad behavior if it floats your boat though!

Yeah apparently the broader audience doesn't seem to get that people enjoy playing with more than one other person. We're the odd ones out I guess.

God forbid a game that's over 100$ for everything has all the modes of the previous games, especially ones the fans loved like tag team battles. Crazy.

Would be sick if it was like Tenkaichi tag team. they have the tag team specail moves alrdy in the game and id feel like it be wasted a opportunity if they didnt put it in.

Seems to be a lot of wasted opportunity. Like who tf would want to play a 5v5 against just 1 person lol. That sounds tedious to me.

I'd much prefer it be a tournament setting where you can give pointers to your teammates and have mechanics to tag in certain scenarios.

Incomprehensible is when someone has the inability to comprehend something for whatever reason. I have watched them. Obviously if they were answered adequately people wouldn't feel the need to ask on forums, reddit and twitter.

I assumed they had mistaken or that they phrased it improperly because to someone that doesn't play fighting games normally 5v5 in a 1v1 scenario doesn't make any sense. I figured the logic was self explanatory. Ironically you now understand the issue I had. Hope it clears things up for you.

Yeah but you'd think after years they'd take the best out of all of them and tag battles was one of the best features.

I don't know if I can justify the price for single player and 1v1. Especially with no crossplay. Pretty ridiculous price point honestly.

Impossible to say the rational behind what and why they did things.
Might not even be any of the original staff there by now.

Yeah you will be the only one that can change your justification on why you would or would not purchase.
