Does it seriously require an Intel Core i5-9600K?
I admit that I’m one of those frustrated people who really doesn’t understand how it can ask for an i5-9600 as the minimum requirement. For example, I have an i7-6700K, and it runs Street Fighter 6 or Mortal Kombat 1 just fine—games that, generally speaking, seem more demanding.

With my processor, my 1070 graphics card, and 32GB of RAM, I can run a large percentage of games at 1080p, which is my monitor's resolution. And not only are these games more demanding in terms of graphics (yes, I know I’m not using the latest technology), but now I’m wondering if it's even worth buying… and yes, I know there are return options, etc., but I think the processor requirement is a bit of a mess.

Do you think this is justified?

I have a 9400f which is a bit slower than the minimum but it can run son wukong and stuff fine according to benchmark videos I've seen

So can the 9400f run it or?

Although, taking those games you mentioned as references is not a good indication here because those games do not have great destruction that requires random calculations by the processor, which can be seen in this Sparking! ZERO and is very CPU demanding in all games.
what are u talking about both CPU are hexacore thats mean the minimum it ask a 6 cores cpu

are those game in UE5? you crying because your ancient ugly Cpu cant run it? upgrade your pc. next time think twice before buying quadcore intel :lunar2019laughingpig:
ps the i5 9500k is a SIX -> 6 CORES CPU do you unterstand whats that mean?

Can you run tekken 8 or wukong though as they're ue5 games too?

You could argue that a powerful CPU with 6 cores is necessary due to scene destruction and the need for intense particle calculations, like in any other game… but let’s be honest, we’re talking about Dragon Ball Z. Akira Toriyama (may he rest in peace) or Toyotaro aren’t exactly known for creating hyper-realistic and ultra-detailed environments. The settings are quite simple in terms of detail—cities, deserts, planets... we’re not talking about forests filled with thousands of trees.

I think Bandai really overdid it here. And while the GPU requirements are pretty low, I definitely see an imbalance between the CPU and GPU requirements.

They do say that minimum requirements arent sometimes accurate. Tekken 8 seems to run fine on mine as that's ue5 when I watched vids

it clearly also says under the minimum requirements an AMD Ryzen 5 would be just as fine, and as someone who got a Ryzen 7 for super cheap from a micro center brand new, if you don't have something better than a Ryzen 5, then you just either don't care about upgrading the PC you built (like upgrading your phone yearly) or don't put in enough work to even be doing that, meaning you shouldn't be buying the game, so your comment really is not well thought out and you shouldn't be complaining that a game in 2024 isn't capable of being run on ps4 generation equipment, it should actually make you happier that tech's evolving that fast, not only that, ryzen 5 came out in 2017, its almost 2025, its 7 years old, coming up on 8 year old, equipment, you jus gotta upgrade

What about my 2019 6 core 9400f? It's a bit weaker than the 9600k
Igormsh Sep 21, 2024 @ 8:53am
Yeah i'm skeptical if my i3 10100f will run it, it is worse than the I5 9600K but stronger than the Ryzen. As i'm filling the rest of the recommended requirements, i think it will run just fine, but who knows if this game really demands that much cpu

What about my 2019 6 core 9400f? It's a bit weaker than the 9600k
So I've had a look and the AMD Ryzen 5 2600 which is listed as the minimum AMD CPU seems fairly comparable to the i59400f so I would assume that it would be at least usable for Sparking Zero as long as settings are properly tweaked

Yeah hopefully. Probably medium or low as wukong runs at 40 on medium without fsr.

Also consider stages like the time chamber. In a stage like that I would imagine there is alot less CPU strain as there isn't really an environment as such for the CPU to take into account

Story mode should be fine right as that's the mode I'll be playing first
