Midfight Transformations useless?

Hi, what good are midfight transformations for if i can pick the transformations before i start playing?
Like Goku turning from base to Super Saiyan midfight

It looks cool, and all forms have different moveset and skills, it's not strictly a power up. What each form can do is different.

Looks cool + Ranked will prolly use DP points system so higher transformation picks will cost more points (Example: Let's say Ranked has 15 DP points pool and UI Goku costs 8, you only have 7 points to work with between your other two picks)
