Unlocking Future Gohan

Does anyone know how I can unlock him? There are a few videos up where they "supposedly" show how, but never really say which episode mode they choose and if its completely random or not. I know he becomes available in the shop after you beat a certain stage, but I don't know which. Can anyone who has unlocked him give me some tips on how I can get him?

just level up your player card and he’ll be in the shop

I know for me it was hella fast. I literally just beat vegeta before the ape fight and he was in the shop for me along with others.
