Stutter during battle
I cannot make it through the first battle due to the stutter, I end up not finishing it because I need this fixed. Seen it on the tutorial and now in the main game. Tried multiple settings changes with no difference in performance. Tried setting GPU to high performance in Windows GPU settings, I have the latest and most updated driving that I did a clean install with.

Is anyone else having this issue?

CPU: 5800x3d
GPU: 4080
Ram: 32GB

Go into training and let the stutters ease themselves out. It's an Unreal engine thing. The game has no shader pre-comp.

actuallly this port is pure garbage.

0 stutter, using i7 14700k, rtx 4070.

Same issue here. 5800X3D, RTX 4090, 32 GB @ 3200 MHz

Afterburner Bench:
08-10-2024, 23:13:51 SparkingZERO-Win64-Shipping.exe benchmark completed, 33239 frames rendered in 555.343 s Average framerate : 59.8 FPS Minimum framerate : 40.3 FPS Maximum framerate : 61.8 FPS 1% low framerate : 45.9 FPS 0.1% low framerate : 5.0 FPS
For a 4090 on 1080p this is beyond frustrating. This game should be able to maintain 60 like it's nothing. I went down from 200 Res scale to 100 and it's slightly better. Will test exclusive fullscreen and see if it's yet another improvement. Really don't know what setting to tweak to improve performance; seems like an engine or DRM issue to me. It's very noticable if you try to quickly switch through the main menu (left, right) :MHRISE_anger:

Edit: Shader compilation could make sense. Let's see if it's better in the long run.

I mean, it is expecting people will not have a stutter, this is with any game........
Trying to find people a like that are experiencing this with a resolution.

Happy for you.....however, not very helpful for this post.

If there is a way to let two high level CPUs fight against each other, then that would be the best way to build your shader cache. The only issue is the large number of characters in the game, assuming that each of them has a handful of unique shaders that only affect/appear when you play as them.

What nonsense are you spewing?
What resolution?
Do you even speak english?

I said I have 0 stutters and posted my 2 hardware parts, I won't bother sharing other stuff and custom gpu driver settings that I use.

Not my problem that your gaming experience sucks and mine doesn't.

If you want I can set up your pc like I've done it for mine, but on your end could be just a cpu issue specific to amd.

Bro got real mad. That was not the intention. Relax. Here to get help.
If your taking what I said the wrong way, I do not know what to say, I am happy you have 0 stutter, but saying you do not have an issue in this post is not helpful.

"Not my problem that your gaming experience sucks and mine doesn't" this line alone proves your not helpful at all.

Bringing negativity and then you go to stating thing like if people do not know how to set games up or PCs when you know nothing about them and act like your a god in that area.

If this is bothers you, this conversation is over, I will not waste my time with someone who is getting upset over this.

You sound just like people in the Robocop rogue city demo. "I have zero stutters guys, it's your PC's!" no, it was confirmed even by the devs, that the cause of the stutters was the fact the game did no shader precomp. Why is this important? Because each time an asset is seen/loaded, you get a momentary hitch.

Now, you might not notice these hitches because you aren't paying attention to them, but I guarantee you, that unless you're on console, you're seeing these happen SOMETIMES, though they are like 0.4 of a second (Depending on your PC.) so they won't be that noticeable.

Again, this is a UE4/5 thing and is fixed simply by having the dev doing pre shader comp. Robocop did it later on and viola, no more stutter. Imagine Wukong if it had no shader precomp and if you REALLY wanna see the effect of no shader precomp, try playing FF16 when it doesn't cache the shaders. You will try and load everything on the fly and it will crash your GPU drivers lol.
