No Super Saiyan Bardock?

I just beat everything in the story mode, every alternative path, bought every character in the store. No sign of SSJ Bardock. I take it he's just not in the game? Hopefully he comes as a DLC character.

They should of added a super saiyan bardock.
Back in namek when vegeta first talked about a legend of a super saying, it was actually bardock who was the first one to ever transform. They did another movie for bardock when he had travelled back in time after getting killed by frieza, as the story goes on he transform into a super saiyan. Thats where the legends came from.

IDK why people even bother with this 'canon' discussion, when it never mattered to begin with.
Broly for the longest time was 'not canon' and nobody ever gave a crap, he was constantly top 3 most popular characters in Japan, alongside Gogeta 4.

Outside of sweaty weebs who think grandma Goku is the best voice acting known to Man, nobody cares who's canon or who isn't, specially since time and time again, their precious canon has been bent to the will of the fans, with Final Kamehameha, Gogeta and Broly becoming 'canon' themselves. Bardock SSJ has been super popular every single time he came out. Heroes is huge in Japan and he was an all time favorite villain, much
so that he got Xenoverse 2's base plot almost entirely centered around him, finishing with a SSJ3 Bardock that was very well received.

The publisher only cares about money, and the fanbase only cares about playing as their favorite characters, canon or not.

the devs do play into that witch is why they dont add heros to everything cause it ruins it ssj bardock wasent in the past games or exsisted at that time

that gmae iddnt have dlc cause ps2 games dont have dlcs cause its not an online game that can get updates so what u talking about

ssj bardock is from the movie. theres plenty of movie characters in the game.
bardock, gogeta, and broly were all depicted in movies first and then became canon in Super, so just because something isn't "canon" doesn't mean it won't be canon, and just because something was in a movie (or even another game altogether like 21) doesn't mean it won't make it to the game in the form of DLC.

SSJ Bardock is one of the most popular requests, i'm sure he'll show up eventually.
I fully expect to see SSJ Bardock, android 21 (both forms, but not good vs evil), nova shenron, eis shenron, beast gohan, orange piccolo, cell max, both of the new androids. all of these will be revealed in DLC packs, almost guaranteed.

The only way this doesn't happen is if this game falls apart and no one plays it.

Oh yeah, just like how none of the GT characters are cannon yet look who is in the roster, and people will argue that Tapion is also not cannon yet again....in the roster.

Movie characters aren't canon. Technically, GT characters aren't canon. Cooler, Turles, Z Broly. Vegeta doesn't go SSJ in the Namek Saga. Black doesn't possess Gohan. Who gives a ♥♥♥♥ what you think is 'canon' and what isn't. It was in the show, it's in countless other games, it should be in this game, too.
