seems like no benefit, maybe for online rank... I was hoping my character unlocks would transfer from ps to steam

I was able to create account
But how do I actually link the game to it?

Idk either, tried linking it with the qr code in the game but it just logs me in, doesn’t link it with sparking zero, weird

Link your account through your Bandai Namco account page first. There's a tab called 'Account Linking', after you've linked it to Steam there (or whichever other platform you're playing Sparking Zero on) you'll get the option to link accounts when using the in-game linking feature now too (instead of just getting a QR code).
