In Fifa there are people who mod the game just to watch cpu vs cpu. I dont get why as they could just play a football manager game instead of a sports game but hey, as long as nobody gets hurt let em have fun with it ^^
This has literally been a thing in games for decades
bro Budokai Tenkaichi fans have enjoyed CPU vs CPU for years and years this isn't a new gen thing. CPU vs CPU tournaments are basically a staple in this fanbase
I could understand it when you place bets or something like it but watching cpu vs cpu for fun just sounds stupid for me. But when your group of players have fun with it its ok, i dont want to take it away from you ;)
As for what I do with CPU only, I often use imagination to create stories. I used to get bag of weed and do a 100 wrestler ribbon tournament. Used to have this fake Manager championship belt made, and me and my buddies/fiancé were picking our teams and just enjoying the RNG in Fire Pro. Damn we saw some crazy moments, some clutch comebacks etc. It is fun, I have no doubt in this I can do some similar stuff and play the game as well.
its fun to take a side and root for who you think will win, and its absolutely not a "new gen" thing, that's stupid of you to even imply
sorry you cant have fun with that concept man ;)
