Super Vegeta Mission alternative path?

There seem to be a splitting path from Super Vegeta mission on cell saga. Anyone knows how to get the alternative? The main path just says Defeat Cell. I have tried speedrunning the kill, letting trunks win, letting cell win, taking it easy and see if its a hidden timer. To be honest the whole secret timer is so f***ing annoying.

Pause the game. Check Battle Details. It tells you the alternate objective. Keep in mind, Perfect Cell is part of this battle

How do you do that if all he does is long range attacks and spams counters to keep me away and dodges long range attacks 90% of the time

step 1:Just charge up your sparking mode and just m1/x him untill he falls. Step 2: then use spirit breaker cannon with the boost then repeat from step 1 till you win

Go Sparking. The Ai usually won't drop out of your □ Mash. If they do it's you have to be paying attention. Mash, but do it smart. Doing that will let you defeat all 3 pretty easily honestly. I'm running into the issue of beating Perfect Cell and not getting the path that leads South. They're are 2 alternate paths at this mission, but I can't get the Southern path. I have gotten the "Total Victory" path already.

Ok, nevermind. For some reason this is one of the only 2 part missions in the whole game. I thought it ended when you defeated Trunks, but no. The fight with perfect cell is also a continuation of the same mission. As mentioned above you need to defeat Perfect Cell before Vegeta considers using the Final Flash. Thanks for the help.

anyone have any idea where I went wrong I defeated cell before Vegeta talked about the Final Flash, but instead it gave me an ending where Vegeta just kills Cell then and their he doesn't invite me to the cell games it just says Vegeta defeated perfect Cell before the Cell Games

Okay, for anyone struggling with this mission, here's the actual answer.

1. Damage 2nd form Cell enough for him to retreat. It's not necessary to do it fast, just take your time.
2. Defeat Trunks. Again, it doesn't need to be quick.
3. Skip cutscene
4. A 2nd battle begins (which is pretty weird!) and THIS is the fight you need to win quickly.

This means you got the alternate ending and need to take longer to kill perfect cell, preferably using final flash once he talks about it. In other words, you are on the other side of the coin.

That's weird cause I did finish him before that point but nothing happened and there's still a branching path

This is frustrating for me because as soon as the Perfect Cell fight STARTS for me, Vegeta is talking about using Final Flash

Yeah, the timer is pretty ruthless, I dont like it either. However it might be tied to the fight with 2nd phase cell and trunks. Maybe if you beat them faster, you might get more timer with perfect cell.
