Help with 'Into A Third Future'

First and Foremost, this may contain spoilers

In Goku's story in the future arc, there is a mission called 'Into A Third Future' where you have to beat Fused Zamas, with an extra objective to beat them before they fuse. Zamas cannot be killed, I have gotten him to no health and he just didn't take damage, but i haven't been able to take down Goku Black past 2 extra bars of health.

I've tried using kaioken with the ultimate right at the last moment, but he regains all his health out of nowhere, making it impossible for me to kill him properly. I don't know what I can do at this point to take him down, any help would be appreciated.

im having the same issue, ive gotten him fully low multiple times, and like you said his health went back to full

You actually have to beat them AFTER they fused

Did u Beat Extra Objectiv in the Mission before?

Im Stuck on these 2 as well...

If you talk about the previous one where they don't fusion yet, yes but it took me quite a few try since you have to beat Goku Black before he ends his speech

Yup, very fr, just finished it and trying my hand on the second one of these. No reference to some hidden "timer" to beat them by, and a forced cutscene you cannot pause and quit from for 2min afterwards....

I think going into sparking, spamming rush attacks then ultimate blast is the easiest way to do it and even then they can counter/vanish most of the time. If he's on his final speech, just retry before it ends so you don't get the whole cutscene

I have tried this and the closest I've gotten was 2 bars left of health.

Isn't that just normally going through the story? I'm trying to get the what if scenario

I just got the what if/alt scenario by just beating the fused form as fast as possible. I was first trying to kill them both unfused but it doesn't even let you do that. The strat is to get a hard knockdown from normal combo attacks paired with dodging the counter hits then fully charge to sparking, combo again with sparking until knockdown again and then use your super and repeat that.

I did that and it didn't work. I thought the point was that once they're fused, they're Immortal, so they're impossible to defeat, so I stuck it at that. I figured you'd have to defeat Rose Black.

Just redid it to be sure, you do have to beat them after they fused before fused zamasu talk about being "the universal law, justice, power" otherwise the fight ends. Also I think he is invincible as soon as he starts the final speech (his hp will be stuck to 1)

You have to beat them after the fusion, not before. Two sparking modes with some combos and the ultimate blast are enough to do it before the time is out.
