Help changing the game's resolution please.
I'm trying to play on Borderless mode because Windowed Mode is crap.
However, the game automatically sets the game's resolution based on your monitor's resolution.

My problem is, my GPU's 6600XT which can only run 1440p for the most part.
My monitor, or rather should I say TV, is 4K resolution.

The game is severely slow on my end when playing Borderless mode and I want to force the game to 1440p.

Do you know any method of doing such?
Thanks!

Hi, i had a similar problem. Change the resolution of your desktop, then the game will pick that resolution.
Meaning, if you set your desktop resolution to 1080p, eveything will look "bigger" in your desktop as it will be a different resolution than 4k in your tv, but the game will use that one and in fullscreen mode

Already got it!!!!

To force the game in borderless mode but on a different resolution, follow this:

Open GameUserSettings.ini inside the
C:\Users\pokem\AppData\Local\SparkingZERO\Saved\Config\Windows folder

Copy paste this in

[Internationalization] Culture=en [ScalabilityGroups] sg.ResolutionQuality=100 sg.ViewDistanceQuality=3 sg.AntiAliasingQuality=3 sg.ShadowQuality=3 sg.GlobalIlluminationQuality=3 sg.ReflectionQuality=3 sg.PostProcessQuality=3 sg.TextureQuality=3 sg.EffectsQuality=3 sg.FoliageQuality=3 sg.ShadingQuality=3 [/script/ss.ssgameusersettings] Version=5 bUseVSync=False bUseDynamicResolution=False ResolutionSizeX=2560 ResolutionSizeY=1440 LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeX=2560 LastUserConfirmedResolutionSizeY=1440 WindowPosX=-1 WindowPosY=-1 FullscreenMode=0 LastConfirmedFullscreenMode=1 PreferredFullscreenMode=0 AudioQualityLevel=0 LastConfirmedAudioQualityLevel=0 FrameRateLimit=0.000000 DesiredScreenWidth=2560 DesiredScreenHeight=1440 LastUserConfirmedDesiredScreenWidth=2560 LastUserConfirmedDesiredScreenHeight=1440 LastRecommendedScreenWidth=-1.000000 LastRecommendedScreenHeight=-1.000000 LastCPUBenchmarkResult=-1.000000 LastGPUBenchmarkResult=-1.000000 LastGPUBenchmarkMultiplier=1.000000 bUseHDRDisplayOutput=True HDRDisplayOutputNits=1000 Option_AntiAliasingQuality=3 Option_ShadowQuality=3 Option_TextureQuality=2 Option_PostProcessingQuality=2 Option_VisualEffectQuality=2 Option_FoliageQuality=2 Option_LodQuality=2 Option_ChaosQuality=1 Option_DofQuality=3 Option_AntiAliasingQualityVs=3 Option_ShadowQualityVs=3 Option_TextureQualityVs=2 Option_PostProcessingQualityVs=2 Option_VisualEffectQualityVs=2 Option_FoliageQualityVs=2 Option_LodQualityVs=2 Option_ChaosQualityVs=1 Option_DofQualityVs=3 Option_ScreenNo=1 Option_Vsync=True Option_ResolutionX=2560 Option_ResolutionY=1440 [/script/engine.gameusersettings] bUseDesiredScreenHeight=True
The configuration in this text is for 1440p resolution.

Just change every resolution line to desired resolution to force the game to run on that.
No need to change monitor resolution anymore!

Hey just wanted to say thanks for this fix! This worked for me. I have a 4k tv but my PC can’t run games at 4k.
