Controls in Online Mode

I am a classic control player, but yet when playing online it gives me the new standard controls no matter what I change in the control settings. Anyone know how I could adjust this?

Same problem here classic controls working fine in all other modes except for online.

Also playing on classic controls, Online the blast 1 and 2 buttons both become the same input so i end up with half a moveset :/

tbh only the UI changed for me and the swap out buttons were messing up which led me to map it differently so it worked no matter what.. maybe my muscle memory on METEOR lets me ignore most of it but my first ranked match was botched over this regardless. Fix fast.

Do you play classic or standard controls?

Well now it seems to be working, I think they fixed it. In case anyone is still having the problem tho, the solution may be to create your own room one time, and from then on it may work. At least it started working for me ever since I did that.

As far as I can tell, when you fight someone that is using standard controls, there is a bug that switches some of your controls as well. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Can confirm it's still happening. I was playing online in a player match against my brother. Both of my supers were mapped to LT+Y. I couldn't use anything but rush supers.
