How to deflect super beams, like galick gun or kamehamha and bob and weave dodge punches.
I'm trying to figure out how to deflect beams but can't seem to grasp it. I do block (RB) and Left Stick right before it hits but it doesn't seem to be this. As for the dodging the punches I think I managed to do it once by holding (B) as I was getting punched but wasn't sure if that was the input since I couldn't emulate it again.

you press B on xbox or O on PS Controller, thats the counter option, you need 2 skill counts for this. The game doesnt explain this to you. -.-

The game does explain it in the training mode tutorial

Is this for the bob and weave counter or deflecting super attacks. I'm guessing the former. Do you know how deflect beam attacks?

no it doesn't, I played through the whole tutorial. It is where I accidentally used it. But no tutorial mission teaches you this, I have checkmarked and beaten every single one.

It does explain it to you, the whole tutorial takes something like 1 hour, and they do detail a lot of things, some requires to actually read the explanation.

If it is in the notes I skipped them near the tail end. Makes sense why I didn't see it. The early notes seemed to just be written versions of the actual gameplay tutorials so they seemed useless. Thanks for the tips. Any idea on how to deflect beams, like a kamahameha?

You just need 2 skill gauges and to hold B you can deflect almost anything

So, 95% of players won't read that.

yes it does, I'm pretty sure deflecting beams is covered in the perception section of the training. You're aware there are different categories of mechanics training with piccolo right?

What is this RB+Y thing? Nothing happens when I do that, on “default” controls. RB is my block button, Y is my Ki button.

On standard Super Blast attacks, such as when Vegeta yells “I’ll break you,” holding B (my perception button) automatically deflects when I have enough resources.

When he yells “I’ll vaporize you,” which I assume is his Ultimate, holding B does nothing and neither does RB + Y. Please help.
