controller input feels really weird and unresponsive

I have the same issue, and one of the review mentioned that as well. Though i do use a dual sense too, so i don't know if it's related.

I have not noticed any issues with my xbox controller. Are you using your DSe wirelessly or wired?

If wirelessly, try wired and see if that fixes it

same here with my xbox controller, i can clearly tell that my hits are delayed. its not a controller problem because the block\transmission is on point, everything else is delayed.

my connection is wired but nothing has worked so far idk why, ps5 buttons keep switching to xbox and its extremely delayed

go in DB's propieties --- controller --- disable steam input and try, I fix in this way !

i found a fix for me at least didn’t realize game bar and game mode were on in windows settings may help someone out

i just uninstalled game bar and turned game mode off works great now

And also disable steam input controller
