Classic or Standard ?

I wanted to play classic controls since its the original tenkaichi but I really dont wanna be rolling my analog off the controller lol, is there a way to play classic but with button mashing instead of analog roll ?

I would recommend going Standard.

Yes. Speed Impact Controls is the setting you want to change

most of those clashes were changed to not have you break your hand like how BT3 did, it just has you press/hold buttons at the right time for the most part.

i hated standard so im playing classic

Simple, if you're new to BT games or prefer an easier and more enjoyable experience, then standard. If you're a hardcore OG BT player and want to relive how it was like to play back in the day as well as making the game more challenging, then go classic.

Some things require an extra button input. Like revenge counter is just one button on standard but you have to double tap on classical, and perception counter is a combination of two buttons on classical but just one button on standard.

So if I'm snail when it comes to pressing the two buttons to perception counter, should I switch to standard? NPCs are always beating me with their revenge counters cos I am a moron and love to press every button cos I panic
