Truth about Zamasu Alternate canon impossible?

I know its a skill issue, but I keep trying to beat zamasu. But the instant I use an ultimate he swaps over to Goku Black, who has too much health for me to get rid of in the short time I have during their dialogue. Trunks pops in bascially instantly afterwards. Am I just bad? Also they keep practically guessing my buttons and kicking me around like a soccer ball.

the "take a final hope slash" is way harder than that. vegito kicks ur ♥♥♥♥ in so you fly around trying to avoid damage and trunks is too damn stupid TO LAND THE ULTIMATE

It is done. Took about 7-8 tries..Just have to defeat Black before he starts his phrase about the blade

You need to clear this during Goku's line when he says 'YOU'RE GONNA PAYYYY!' or before Goku Black even begins to start his line about 'taste my blade'

To do this, try to enter sparking mode right as Goku Black switches in. Attack him a lot, and try to get the ultimate off. Then go sparking mode again, instant transmission (if you are far -- I did this to save time), and start another combo quick.

Note that when you use your ultimate kamehameha, it pauses dialogue, so it's a great way to get damage in before the next phrase starts. Good luck! Took me about 20 tries to get this done since Black basically counters a lot. If you can, try to spam your dodge button (R1 for controller) when attacking black, so you get evasion out there and keep up the combo.

Try to aim for a 15 hit combo followed by ultimate about 2-3 times in really really quick succession.

I just defeated Black Goku with the Ultimate after (The Real) Goku gets mad because of the revel of his Family death.

My Ultimate connected Goku Black (and finished him) right before Goku said this Dialog
- You're gonna regret telling me that, Zamasu! 'Cause now I'm mad! Now I'm REALLY, REALLY mad! And now, IT'S TIME TO PAAAY!!!

U know that u got the alternative when Goku Black says this after u finished him
- What?! That's impossible! How... How could this happen?!

I need help, i can't progress with the story? Idk why. What should i do ?
I keep doing the mission and failing to progress, only unlocking the what if.

Funny enough I have the issue of beating it too fast. You can spam the sparking ult. If you manage to hit it once IMMEDIATELY charge it again. Then super fly towards him start a combo and hit the super ult again. Just repeat this process. This is how I get through 90% of timed based fights.

So I have Beaten this so you have to kill Goku Black but I beaten up zamasu with sparking until talk about goku family and switches goku black then you have to beat up goku black before he's final dialogue

i don't know how anyone has completed it, i have run zamasus health all the way down, which just resets at the bottom, and have to continue fighting him until arbitrarily goku black appears, which is always after talking about his blade, the second goku black appears truck starts talking and they fuse before i can kill black, and even if i reduce blacks health all the way it also resets. i have repeated this cycle for about an hour now, and physically could not beat it faster if i wanted too

I got so frustrated I used a dragon orb on this but that just make Goku Black ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ IMMORTAL?!?!?! No matter how much I attacked him he would stay at a sliver of health and the battle didn't progress at all until he killed me. He also never said his "your anger will power my blade" or whatever line. Is this a bug?

So as has been said before the trick is to ignore Zamasu and try build skill bar and Ki, kick his ass if you can without using resources. As soon as Goku Black shows up go sparking and Kaioken and just basic melee him until the last of the spark and use a ability. Just finished it there myself and this is what worked

Every time I get to right before the voiceline where goku says he's really mad and that goku black will pay etc... it skips mid way through the voice line and goes straight to black saying "thank you blah blah blah now time for my blade". I've gotten him to 0 hp multiple times now but it doesn't count for some reason. Loving this lol.

Must be, lore wise Zamasu only one should be doing that…

This fight is actually bugged on steam version. They give you only 30 seconds to beat it compared to other versions of 2 minutes.
