There are some fights that are really hard, some that are really easy and some really balanced. I got my ass kicked af from Ape Vegeta and Freeza. Vegeta will have that strong superarmor and is more a patience and dodge fight, Freeza instead is like max level AI, the mf will really punish u if u do anything like the R3 counter.
Also remember to not take all negative commentarys seriously, we have a hell of a ton of -15yo kids being really toxic.
For me atleast, the game is being quite fun and enjoyable even after the 30fps jumpscare at launch and getting my ass kicked by Ape for like 1 hour
no game will ever be as ruthless.
ultimate tenkaichi was tough in its own way but, there's a lot to unpack about why that game was hard, mainly predictive rng and grinding for levels.
i finshed this game up to jiren and then did some tournaments on the hard difficulty and i honestly dont think this game is that hard. i never did the tutorial so idk any of the mechanics or things. the AI definitely seems like its cheating sometimes but then itll just sit there and let you rampage through it.
Basically just go into max power mode and clap the AI. one max power mode is worth 3 bars of damage minimum, even if you only get like 1 combo off.
I advise to turn off the auto assist for counters because countering attacks just wastes bars that you could be using for other things.
for example it costs 2 bars to counter the enemy and punch them in the face, but for 2 bars i can do 2 max power modes and wipe out 2 full health enemies.
That strat worked all the way up through jiren and the hard difficulty tournaments so, it works. It'll feel cheesy though. so only do it once you're tired of getting railed by the AI and want to dish out some revenge.
oh yeah io think this is the literal best dragon ball game ive played and im not dropping it for even a second but I was expecting to get my ass handed to me in pvp not pve ;-;
