why is burter with ginyu and jeice has his back broken by goku?

man, have ever read anything about the game? you can do choices in the story... Its a what if story mode. You can do as the story or change the future...

the only option i had was team up with piccolo or not, which i did, so the story should be the same. its a small thing in an otherwise good game so far but i do feel a bit like ppl should just leave it how toriyama wrote it or at least state more explicitly that its a what if. this will be many peoples first dragonball experience and that isn't how toriyama envisioned goku ariving at namek. pretty unimportant thing really but yeah i think respecting the original is even more important rn

only path that you chose in text is at the begining the rest you have to meet the conditions for it which you did

Yeah it's confusing. I knew there were branching paths and whatnot, but I have no idea what conditions exist most of the time and I have no idea what it is that seemingly everyone including myself is or isn't doing that is causing it do go down that path at that point. I had the Burter-Ginyu and broken Jeice thing too. Was quite confused.

idk what the trigger for him are but going on easy mode force you on the right path so there is always that option
