What if for Arrival on Planet Namek

Planet Namek Arc / Goku's Saga. Arrival on Planet Namek mission.

Have done the Defeat Jeice route, but the other what if is avoiding me. Anyone got any ideas?

I can only assume it's defeat Burter but I cannot for the life of me get him to join in the fight. Alternative objective is saying to defeat Jeice without deflecting a crusher ball but I've defeated him 10 times taking every crusher ball to the face.

set difficulty to low and he will swap because you cant do alternate paths on low difficulty, and fighting burter is the canon path. No idea if its a bug or what, but i struggled with this too.

There must be a typo in the alternate battle conditions because as soon as i deflected Jeice’s crusher ball, Jeice freaks out and Burter comes in.

If you deflect his Crusher ball he swaps

There isnt a typo. It says defeat Jeice *without* deflecting the crusher ball for the alternate objective.

I’m still having trouble. :( I’ve gone whole matches against this guy now without him even throwing a crusher ball and I can block them and I go into sparking and block them but no deflect.. how do u do???

I’ve beaten jeice with and without reflecting it. Yet no alternate pathway.

i got the answer to this, if you beat jeice without deflecting a crusher ball, you get the alt ending, you know you did when burter is the one who goes to ginyu and dies to vegeta, if you deflect one, not block, not dodge, not eat it in the face, deflect, jeice goes to ginyu and dies to vegeta

Bro, this is pissing me off. I beat him taking it head on, I deflected, beat him without him using it at all and I still get the alt path. I cant even lower the difficulty, it just gives a warning

Hold B while having more than 2 of the action bar. It will deflect and they will swap. Don't lower the difficulty to trigger it.
