What a dissapointment of a game sadly

This game just isn't as fun as I thought it would be. The controls are clunky, and the storytelling is mostly done through slides. The PC version is rough on its own as well with frame stutters, audio issues, and other small things. There's barely any animation in story mode, and when there is, the characters look like stiff Jpegs with electricity effects around them and way too much text on screen—no announcer to add any hype. I get it, we’ve all played through Dragon Ball Z's story a million times, but that’s because it’s exciting. We love feeling overpowered as Goku facing off against Recoome, and the thrill of watching Frieza kill Krillin, leading to Goku's epic Super Saiyan transformation in stunning animation (thanks, Kakarot!). But this game strips all that away.

I was really looking forward to experiencing Vegeta’s story, maybe even going full Oozaru and taking on the Z Fighters in some epic battles. But no, you don’t even start with Vegeta’s earlier moments—you’re just thrown into the Namek saga. It doesn’t make any sense.

I've never been more let down by a game. I told everyone to pre-order it because I thought it’d be the only game I'd play for the next decade, and now… it’s just not what I hoped for. I want it to be great, but it’s not. I want this game to be IT but.... its not it.

Im not writing this to flame people who love the game. Im glad people can enjoy themselves but to me.... and my 30 years as a fan... this just feels like we had the rug pulled from under us after insane showcases. it feels like the whole budget went to the roaster and even then its reminds me of BT3 with the same moves just different character models.

There is no way the entire story was beaten in 4 hours unless they only played one or two characters and ignored the what ifs which are quite long and more challenging than the main fights.

Seriously I recommend people try the what ifs I was only able to try one of them but it went a lot further than I expected.

I agree and i want to add that the game doesn't have PVP OFFLINE mode... i really doesn`t understand why eliminated tournament or just single fight 1vs1 local mode (only allows to fight in trainning time room). Sadly i`ll have to keep playing BT4 mod with my friends to enjoy the game

This is what I've been telling on reddit but fanboyism just gets it downvoted. The roaster in itself is not game content. Most will pick 5 and play with that and don't touch 182.
Besides that what is the content then or what it should be?
- The combat (which some animations lacking, as well as the sound design majorly)
- Story mod: Now since story mod is not a focus in these games it's okay if its short, the problem is it's not only short but low in quality. Most of it is just a slideshow and there is barely any proper animation to it, especially the mouth movement all of it.
Also as of now:
- Stuttering problems
- Camera still clips below the ground in several cases even in this build

A lot of thing can and will be improved with mods, but it shouldn't be this way and console players are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ again.

Camera spinning, flight is stilted and awkward, just trying to do basic defensive options dont event work half the time, you dont recover enough Ki from attacking to do super moves, basically HAVE to stand there charging, janky wobbling camera and WAY too much particle effects making it hard to keep track of the characters to tell whats going on, and the character models look...i dunno, boxy, like cheap action figures?

This game reminds me more of One Piece Burning Blood than Tenkaichi 3.

So it seems that I am one of the only people who are really happy with the game. Only that the online functions do problems on PC is annoying and I hope they will fix it. Fights feel good for me and I enjoy that I am able to play the story with the Hero I desire and its even possible to play Frieza. Also, it looks very beautiful in my opinion.

I really cant understand your point of view. For me this game has the smooth movement from Kakarot, even a bit smoother. I didnt like Xeno since it was clunky as hell. I am enjoying the game so far.

Goku's Arc goes all the way through but only fights that Goku was personally in. I just finished up the Cell Saga before switching over to the Frieza arc for something different.

They are shilling on this game hard like it takes away from their soul if someone makes an negative comment about it. This game is a disappointment for many. If you are in love it then play it and stay off the forums if you are gonna get butt hurt.

Disliking any game should not take away your enjoyment. If it does then your ego is so fragile. This game is mid at best and i would tell anybody to save your money and watch some real reviews. Or play it then get a refund.
