What a dissapointment of a game sadly

This game just isn't as fun as I thought it would be. The controls are clunky, and the storytelling is mostly done through slides. The PC version is rough on its own as well with frame stutters, audio issues, and other small things. There's barely any animation in story mode, and when there is, the characters look like stiff Jpegs with electricity effects around them and way too much text on screen—no announcer to add any hype. I get it, we’ve all played through Dragon Ball Z's story a million times, but that’s because it’s exciting. We love feeling overpowered as Goku facing off against Recoome, and the thrill of watching Frieza kill Krillin, leading to Goku's epic Super Saiyan transformation in stunning animation (thanks, Kakarot!). But this game strips all that away.

I was really looking forward to experiencing Vegeta’s story, maybe even going full Oozaru and taking on the Z Fighters in some epic battles. But no, you don’t even start with Vegeta’s earlier moments—you’re just thrown into the Namek saga. It doesn’t make any sense.

I've never been more let down by a game. I told everyone to pre-order it because I thought it’d be the only game I'd play for the next decade, and now… it’s just not what I hoped for. I want it to be great, but it’s not. I want this game to be IT but.... its not it.

Im not writing this to flame people who love the game. Im glad people can enjoy themselves but to me.... and my 30 years as a fan... this just feels like we had the rug pulled from under us after insane showcases. it feels like the whole budget went to the roaster and even then its reminds me of BT3 with the same moves just different character models.

This game doesn't have Story mode. It's called Episode mode.

And yes, I wish this game had a Story mode. Because I am only 4 hours in and I've played every mode and am now bored.

So...what you're saying is Sparking zero is Exactly what people asked for? a return to tenkaichi and not more xenoverse bs and it only took since 2007 to get here and you're mad about it?

well maybe don't spend way too much money without researching how it plays, the devs even did several showcases of the game

I disagree personally. I think almost every other dbz game has been better so far imo. Maybe the PVP will carry it but id rather play battle of z over this one. And battle of z was horrid
