I'm getting 45-62 fps in combat consistently.

Idk if they tried setting resolution scale to 60 it’s the lowest you can go without making the game look bad. That may help. It’s how I got my Ally X running it at higher fps

This isn't playable on the Deck, I'm sorry. Once they fix the game speed issue, maybe then you could cap the game at 40 or 50FPS and have it run decently.
The issue is that I will not touch fighting games below 60 even if briefly beyond 1% lows. We don't really need to debate this. If you don't have a problem with it, then feel free to keep enjoying it.
Dang I was hoping dropping your resolution scale could help the steam deck as well. I had to do that to get it to run well on my Ally X
Try capping the framerate to 30 or 40FPS and then compare it to the game running at 60, it's running slower, like it's a 90's game that ties the speed to the framerate, that's the problem.
