Keeps sending the game to my second monitor and it only does this for this game. ive tried everything at this point. Changing which is the primary. Tried the big picture mode thing. Doesnt make any sense because all settings appear be the same on both monitors but no matter what I do it sends the game to the backup screen. I do want to note that it appears to at least attempt to open it on the main monitor before sending it to the second one. PLease help.

Ironically, I do this and the game will revert back to my other monitor once I save the settings, smh.

There is an option in the settings but if that doesn't work try this. Windows key + shift key + arrow key.

I fixed it by hitting Alt+Enter, dragging the windowed version to the correct monitor and saving the game in borderless on that monitor.

Might be too late, but hope this helps. My issue was very specific. I found that even though my PC stated that my monitors were set the way I wanted them to be in the windows settings, it apparently wasn't and another monitor is actually the main one (likely the one it defaults to when you play the game and have this issue). The fix is to go to your Nvidia Control Panel settings (assuming you are on, idk the AMD equivalent) and go to the "set up multiple displays" section, scroll down on that page and the just move a random monitor and then put it back the way it was. On the bottom right of the control panel window you should now see the "apply" button. Click that and it should fix the issue after the monitors do the adjusting thing.

Hope this helps, don't know why this happens but it was the fix that worked for me.
So I have 2 monitors ones 1080p the other is 1440 the game automatically goes to the 1080p even tho the 1440p is my main and it keeps trying to set my 1080p resolution to 1440p and it won't let me change the 1440p any higher than 1080p
