Control changing?

I'm a bit confused. It appears you have the option to actually change the controls for how you play the game but it does not allow me to bind certain controls. I'm trying to replicate the way Raging Blast and Raging Blast 2 was but none of these controls are allowed? Any advice on what to do?

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm very used to the Raging Blast controls and would love to be able to use them on Sparking Zero.
