Have you tried it personally? Could you do an online test to see if it works? Thank you!

There is videos on it on Youtube. It has issues.

I'm getting "communication error" as soon as my opponent starts to move. Everything else leading up to the fight works perfectly.

Can you post the video talking about steamdeck/proton issues?

Maybe the servers are full or is it an incompatibility problem with anti-cheat?

I'm having a bad feeling that it is some sort of anticheat being triggered. Before I get disconnected I can see my opponent start to move, so.

So far I've tried Proton Experimental, 9.03, and some version of glorious eggroll... none have worked so far. I'm going to try reducing all my graphics settings to see if its somehow something else.

Can confirm the communication error as soon as you or the opponent first start moving.

Maybe they will solve it. There was a similar problem with wwe 2k24, it found the matches but as soon as the match started it gave an error. What does it look like offline? Does it work well on SD?

Yea, seems to have nothing to do with graphics settings.

Yep, anticheat.

That very thing as you describes happens in DBFighterZ as well.

I played one random game on the steam deck. Everything set to either low or off except medium textures. I was averaging 52 to 60 FPS. Mostly on 52 from what i saw. I was played Vegeta vs Burtur, Jeice, Captain Ginyu and Golden Freeza.
