Early Access Release time

Why can't we pre-download games prior to the release date/time? That way we can instantly play the moment the game is available to play. The game comes out 11pm UK time and I'll have to download it first and most likely I won't be able to play until tomorrow AFTER work. It would make it a lot more fluid and less strain on download servers if we can pre-download.

Could be still a small chance of preload when steam refreshes in 40 minutes or just a few hours before the early access

Because the game probably is too small to be preloaded on steam tbh, its only like 30gb

I did purchased the Deluxe Edition but steam says the game will be playable on the 11th of october. Does anyone else have this Problem?

Mine says the 11th, but I reached out to them about it. Waiting on a reply.

Thats the Games official release. If you look at the store page it says Deluxe edition early access starts in like 6 hours.

One issue I'm seeing is that it doesn't show me as owning the Ultimate edition, or any DLC so it still shows that I can purchase the ultimate copy on the store page.

From what i heard on google, i should be able to pre-load the game in about 30 mins (i'm from italy)

Oh look, a child has entered the discussion.

Some people don't have a choice in what kind of internet bandwidth that is available to them. For example: I have 5 gigabit synchronous fiber.. yet, I still advocate for pre-loading because I know how it is to not be able to download a game in under 5 minutes.

Pc users don't get predownload.. for an obvious reason..

If we can download the game we can find ways to get it to run.. which is why we can only download games when they come out or enter advance access..
