Season passes are ALWAYS a bad thing to get because you don't know what the DLC content will be. What if it's lame characters that you'd never want to buy? What if they make one of the DLC's some sort of new game mode you have no interest in? What if they "go woke" and make one of them nothing but LGBTQ skins? (Rainbow hair Goku and Vegeta!)
Typically if a season pass includes 3 DLC packs worth $20 each ($60 total) the season pass will sell for $55.
So the separate DLC will be like 2% more expensive if you buy them all separately. The tiny amount of money you save just isn't really worth it when you don't know what the content you're buying will be.
