Transformations
Whats the point of transforming from Base to highest if you can pick the highest transformation already at the character selection, Example i can pick ssjb goku instead of Super goku then transforming up to SSJB

If you start from Base you'll be stronger then if you start at highest transformation. They give you a buff for doing that. Same with fusing characters. The lower power start the overall stronger they'll be when they get to that form.

Cos theres a point system in pvp. You get a total of 15 points and the stronger characters cost more so ssjb goku would cost like 8 but base would cost 5 same with alot of other characters.
It's more for players to be able to switch mid-fight rather than to give an advantage, but people will find which forms are the best to start with and what mid-fight transformation give the most advantage.

So if i pick base first and then transform my way up will i do more damage If i am transforming up to for example SSJB Than someone who just picked ssjb from the start

I could be wrong, but I heard that it might be a risk/reward sort of thing. Sure you can pick a max form version of someone and start out with a certain advantage, but their stats/abilities are locked and do not change, where as transformation based chars may start out weaker to some degree, but give significant bonuses if they can achieve them. Again, I just heard this from a YouTube video of someone explaining what sounded like concrete proof, but may not be true.

You will need to consider the fact that if you will even be allowed to power up enough to do so. If there is a concrete way for players to stop you from doing so, then that may be a counter to said characters.

This. Often my own experience is that you don't have as much time to gather Kai and transform more than once in most hectic matches against other players.

I always use to respect the full power charges, but there have been a few times where rushing and leaving no room for anything was the only play. Otherwise players snowball and it's like fighting a boss who only takes damage from triggers, but there are no triggers. Regardless, I'm a HUGE sucker for transformations, so i'll definitely be picking myself a few base chars, just cause i love the feeling of earning that transformation.

1) Point system, strongest characters require more points, lower forms require less points
2) You can still transform and fuse freely despite starting picks
3) Buffs for transformations
4)My chiaotzu frieza soldier, saibamen team is gonna wipe you anyway so just choose yamcha 5 times

If you skip a transformation ex: from goku base to ssj3 straight is it as strong as if u did 1,2 and then 3?

cause its fun to see em epower up and power down gets you intothe game nothing like seeing goku transform into ssj for the 10000th time

I don't know how true it is that you are stronger transforming from base than picking the character at the start. I'm pretty sure that DP determines the balance and relative strength of characters more the act of transforming itself
