Between the switches is a 10gb link, SFP to Fibre. My own 1gb ethernet is the first bottle neck, even if it wasn't the next would be the 6gb sata connection on my drives.
I cannot directly connect to their cache servers here, but I know what rack they are in and who the internet provider is, so I can plug in to that switch.
Realistic the difference in download speed here vs at home is actually marginal due to the bottle necks in my own pc being 1gb ethernet.
I'd love to get an SFP network card so I could get better speeds from some of these switches.
