Pre-Order bonus seems pointless for DLC buyers to me?

Maybe it's just me but I don't get why Goku "mini" as they seem to be calling him would not be included in Dragon Ball Daima DLC anyway.. Same for other forms that should be logically in Broly DLC . So by this logic the Pre-Order bonus seems to be more of a gimmick to lure people to buy early vs those who buy Deluxe or Ultimate, or even the Season Passes at any point?

The main reason why I question this is because the bonuses did intrigue me.. until I realised there will be and should be DLC that includes these forms of Goku anyway. So what do we really get out of it if we intend to buy the DLC? Is there really any point in considering Pre-order if I intend to buy DLC?

I'm actually considering whether to get Deluxe or Ultimate so that I have access to Season Passes and this is what got me thinking about what content you get with those vs Standard with Pre-order bonus. I guess what it really boils down to is whether I care about waiting for release date vs Early Access or even wait until the game goes on offer at some point?

What do you guys think? Has it been confirmed whether these forms are Pre-order exclusive or just some extra character access for those who don't care which edition they get?

As far as I know, unless you're some big-shot YouTuber who gained some kind of preview play, no one has played it yet and therefor haven't mained any characters yet. I assume you mean you plan to mostly play this character when the time comes? Which is fair, but I'd be mores interested in knowing what he's like as a main once people experience playing him as that could actually change depending on how well he fights and how much the player enjoys playing him. Either way, I have reason to believe he will be included in Daima DLC anyway, unless someone can confirm otherwise. So I still fail to see the point in this for anyone other than base game buyers. Which is my main point and concern about making a Pre-order being lured by this so-called bonus offer.

Ah, I see. Yeah, I saw those options too which is what really got me thinking. Any particular reason you chose to get it now? Just wanted to jump into EA? Honestly? as much as I'm intrigued by Daima Goku (Mini) I'm not 100% bothered so long as we don't lose out getting him at any point vs Pre-order and my suspicion for Deluxe and Ultimate getting him through Season Pass Daima content makes me a little weary

I highly doubt they're scamming. They must uphold what is advertised as that could be followed with a lawsuit. Sometimes Steam doesn't 100% work as intended and therefor does not confirm what you have in regards to Early Access. All I can say is just wait and see when the time arrives tomorrow before making assumption that you were scammed. Besides, if you do truly feel that way and/or find that you have no early access you could always apply for a refund. Honestly though? Not entirely bothered about the Early Access gimmick, it's just a nice bonus for those who are eager to play in my opinion. Honestly? But yeah this game was pretty clear with what you get from preordering.
Play the game slightly earlier and get an exclusive mid-tier character.
It's honestly okay with me because those who don't pay early don't lose out on anything major and those who do get to satiate their hype.
There's much much worse preorder bonuses I've seen in the past, this one's non-offensive.

Too late now, the game is already out. But thanks for the response. My point was that there was nothing to confirm if it was actually "exclusive" and should be included in Diama DLC so I'm pretty sure it's not.
