Well, the word has been that PS is getting a 5-day early pre-download period for people who bought the bigger editions, or something along those lines. And people were speculating if it will be the same for Steam as well. Apparently not.
The 5 day early access on playstation is official or it's just a rumor ?
To clarify, I mean that PS players get to download it 2 days before the early access period, and THEN they get to play it on the 7th.

According to this it is offical.
Pre-load Date
The pre-load schedule for Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO on PS5 can be seen below.
Deluxe/Ultimate Editions: October 5, 2024 (3 PM PT)
Standard Edition: October 8, 2024 (3 PM PT)
Yes, it was official. Check any of the other discussions talking about this early download thing, they gave links and such. But as I said, the same isn't available for PC players.
Exactly this. Thank you!
No problem, i am still looking for information on 21:9 Ultra wide.
I wish you luck on that journey friend, I'm afraid I'm no help at all on that. God speed!
Well they stated that they will be 4K native support if i remember correctly so you will probably have a 21:9 ultra wide resolution available. And if not, you can still made it windowed and resize it manually i guess ?
Well i think we will have a pre-load on steam 24 hours before only, i think they are scared that someone could find a way to play after a preload on PC and before the official early access, there was a similar issue with Starfield and Hogwart Legacy where people could play after the preload but i don't remember how.
Hmm, yeah that sounds fair. I understand things like this being more protected, considering PC has a LOT more tools at it's disposal to try and play the game earlier then intended. It's unfortunate that we can't download it today, but it's only a couple more days, we'll be alright.
I have a definitive answer about the preload. If you go on the steam storefront of the game and own the game, it says "Pre-order this edition and play this game 3 days before it release. The Early Access will be available in 2 days" meaning that the pre-load on steam will be 24 hours before the Early Access, just like every other Early Access on Steam games
For the reason, i also heard that steam don't allow pre-load beyond 24 hours and it's only because of steam, but i don't have anything else, it's either that or my previous explanation
