How to get Dragon Balls
Probably the only thing Bandai Namco has been rather shifty on giving us a straight answer about, considering we know basically everything else. (And Steam Deck support. I still have hope though)

It is entirely possible that they will follow what Tenkaichi 3 did, that is give you Dragon Balls throughout the story mode if you fly around and destroy bits of the environment until you find it, but given how this is the one thing they either hadn't been asked or just refuse to answer just has me worried that they'll try to pull a fast one

It’s definitely gonna be the treasure hunt in map style. The very creators of Tenkaichi wouldn’t stray away from the Tenkaichi way of getting Dragonballs

Considering how the devs are not only listening to fans and made changes to fix the game, but they do seem to have a tight finger on the pulse of what would make this the ideal Tenkaichi 4 for myself and so many others. (That and apparently it has been confirmed that they are selling this as Tenkaichi 4 in everything but name)

And if they stick with this old system, it would actively reward and encourage everyone to engage with what is considered a major selling point (being destructable environments)
I agree and the whole point of Dragonball in general (not just video games) is the finding of the Dragonballs. Not the buying. Goku and the others never bought their way to Shenron

Even though some games kinda sideline finding the Dragon Balls (FighterZ and kind of Xenoverse come to mind. Kakarot is the latest big Dragon Ball game that tried to make them a part of the gameplay loop)
