Better late than never. It doesn't matter when this trend started, it will remain an annoying and bad practice forever. Better studios like From Software don't do this kind of thing, only the less moral companies that are continuously making gaming worse and worse every day with these decisions.
I disagree, the older things are so much better in most cases. Dragon Ball included.
Its not like you're gonna change ANYTHING by crying HERE, its totally out of place, the only result is you being annoying.
Wanna complain about all of this? Then quit being a coward and do it FOR REAL in real life, start doing something that actually moves people, interacting with people around you instead of complaining in some random steam forum.
Bet that's too hard, right? Well, that's the only way to get some actual following on your cause, the only thing you could possible get over here is a gtfo.
Quit being lazy.
What's really funny to me is that you don't think so when it's so obvious.
Is Early Access making gaming better? I'm pretty sure it's not, especially not with how most big companies are using or more like abusing Early Access.
Many companies are only using Early Access to be able to ship their half broken products and use their players as unpaid beta testers who pay the company for being a beta tester for them. Recent example: Star Wars Outlaws.
Is this making gaming better? Can you enlighten me why do you think so?
Of course there are good examples of Early Access too, for example it makes indie companies be able to release their games in parts and get paid so they can continue to work on their games, but the big companies are simply abusing it.
That's some hardcore projecting what you're doing there.
You say nobody cares, but you cared enough to get mad about it and type all that out in all caps.
If a sane person truely doesn't care about something then they just simply ignore it.
Funny how you talk about me being annoying when you are calling me a coward for literally no reason. Judging by your comment it sounds like you're the one spending too much time in front of the screen.
I take trolls over censorship
There's so much wrong with every single comment you make, I don't even know where to begin...
I'm pretty sure not everyone is getting it early cause not everyone is a mindless consumer who eats up everything companies put in front of him. Not everyone getting tricked into buying the Deluxe Edition for 3 days of fomo early access, so that part of your sentence is simply just not true like your previous comments.
It's more like just to display my dislike and disapproval of this practice and to start a conversation about it, hoping for some sensible comments but my hope died with you. How do you want to improve something if you expect people to never talk about the issues they have?
You said this practice is not making gaming worse, yet you failed to explain how it is making it any better. You refuse to reply to parts of my comment where I am right and using facts and logic and just say that "You're a joke" or "You're jealous". It is evident that you're the one who can't handle people disagreeing with you because you're the one calling names instead of explaining your nonsense.
Raising the price of a game from $60 to $100 just so people can play it 3 days early is wild and if you guys don't find any issue with it then and believe that this is making gaming better then I don't even have anything else to say because then it's just pointless anyway.
