EAC randomly straight up fu*ks steamdeck without a condom or lube, its just brutal.

For no real reason at all they broke XV2 and FigherZ on steamdeck cuz of linux not working with EAC

well for one thing companys arent makeing there games with steam deck in mind they make it for pc and consoles not the steam deck if it breaks on there then steam needs to update there software so it doesn't do that steam deck is cool idea but even steam stopped caring about it so yea who cares besides linux is not mainly for gaming any ways games were made on a windows so for windows just cause you can use it on something that wasent meant for it doesnt mean its always 100% made for it u just can ppl find work arounds all the time like trying to get gta 5 to run on ya phone some kinda way thru cloud gaming or emualtions doesn't mean it was meant for it

It’s not an MMO so it’s very unlikely. High chance it will have 1 universal server

except for the fact that the game works fine . EAC doesn't . It's not steam's fault in this case . btw Kernel level AC are a security nightmare that shouldn't run on windows either but they do anyway . For fighting games cheating is a lot less rampant and doesn't really need EAC if it's programmed well enough . Stop talkin out yo ass if you don't know what you're talkin bout . Been using linux on my main system for a while now for things including gaming for a couple years now and most things work to unless anticheat fks it over .

ok first there is no need to start throwing insults around just talk normaly with out insutling ppl 2nd lot of things dont work correctly as nothing is perfect dont exsepct it things have problems not all games work on linux ok things worked for u you thats good for you but not every one gets that do they as not every one run the same system versions or os some times the anit cheat messes up not my first time thats happened to me or any one but just cause ur not having problems does not mean no one else will or isnt windows is just better for gaming then linux as not every game is released with it in mind lot of ppl learned the hard way as one game i used to play ppl were asking for them to make it combatable for linux and they said no as they did not make it with it in mind to be played on that os if it runs on it thats fine but they didnt make it for that they said that and nobody asked them no more so every one has there own way of doing things

EAC on recent games works fine on Linux. The worst that could happen is that you won't get access to the online, but that's very unlikely. They did put a lot of effort in making EAC work on steam deck, and it's just sad they don't extend that to the older games.
Wait for the confirmation the game is steam deck verified if you want some assurance, and if it is, you won't get any trouble.
