Whats the point of the dp system

if the strongest characters in the game all cost less than 4dp, why the ♥♥♥♥ even add the system. IS the point to make sure you cant run any characters you like in matches? because as it is now if i pick anyone except the 103598772409578 characters that cost 1 dp and have after image, a full heal, and moves that do as much damage as Ui goku, Im just throwing, they will just swap in an out and stall for time.

There's only 1 character that costs 1 DP.

The point of the DP system is to ensure* we have more fair, evenly powerful characters (total strength) on each team. There is only 1 character that costs 1 DP and a handful that cost 2 DP.
