Why does Vegeta Story Mode end after the Majin Buu Saga?

Hi, i play Vegeta's story and it did end after defeating Kid Buu wtf...

besides gokus story thats the case for everyones story . Gohan starts in the middle of the cell saga for example. its just a weird decision they made in my opinion.

how barebones the entire game is u mean
this game reminds of dbz burst limit, in both games after finishing the story i looked at the rest of the game and went like "Is this really it"?
ill go back to bt3 to get my dragon ball fix until the people that made this game get their heads out of each other asses and add worthy single player content
game is the biggest dissapointing of the year, wish i could get a refund

Well lets see, for Battle of Gods Vegeta didn't achieve much, Ressurection F could have had a fun alternate ending where Vegeta actually killed Frieza, There is no U6 stage and no Tournament of destroyers covered, For Goku Black arc all of the fights where he is involved is covered in other stories whether as an ally or enemy, and for the Tournament of Power most of his opponents aren't in the game, there could of maybe been a fight against frost. But the few of his fights that are in the game are covered in other stories, maybe a what if where he doesn't blow up against Toppo but that was also shown in another story.

Tldr, yeah it sucks that his story doesn't go into super but there isn't much room for alternate paths and other stories make use of him as a character you can switch to so it isn't too big of a loss.

Gohan has a whole alternative story after defeating Freezer in RoF and even reveals a new fan-favorite reveal. So no, you could still do a lot with Vegeta.

Not making excuses. Original poster was asking why Vegeta's story ended at Z and I gave my best reason. I believe Vegeta, Trunks, and Piccolo got done real dirty with their stories.

Reminds me most of ultimate tenkaichi with real time filler in between the QTEs and Rock paper scissors.

Gohan's story starts in the Cell saga.

Vegeta got some good what if.

I'm not sure "what if..." would work in Super that isn't done already.

sorry but 1 good what if is not enough when the rest of the story mode is straight garbage
woulnt surprised me if they sold the missing arcs for all characters as dlc since people with more money then sense already payed 15 euros for anime sounds when theres mods that do it for free
but like we say in my country, everybody gets what they deserve

Scenarios like "What if radditz teamed up with Goku" or "What if Vegeta didn't kill Nappa" would've been more fun than all of the what if content already in-game.

"What if gohan trained" is fine and all, but we end up at the same point no matter what.

I feel like Vegeta got a bit shafted in the story mode. But hopefully with the DLC's coming, which i am curious as to what it might be? I believe one will be daima, and super hero. But thats not vegeta stuff. The thing is they would need to introduce granolah, gas, etc but thats only in the manga
