Its not against the rule to spam, but it's not fun either, but then again Ranked is a lot more sweaty than Player match.

i dont care if someone tries to spam sparking mode, i destroy them regardless, so do what ever you want, beeing in sparking mode wont make you any better.

The only thing I've gotten legitimately mad about was when I lost an entire character to a seemingly infinite backshot combo that I couldn't recover from when knocked down, couldn't super counter or teleport, and lost 5 health bars from.

Seemed like a bug or an exploit to me.

(I still took the L, though, for the record.)

i say its the controlls that got you in that match.

The point is even if you are spamming sparking or any other move and can reach high rank you are still "good at the game" because it is part of the game. I don't care if you think it's unfun or cheap or whatever.
