Can't transform or switch group member - despite having items off

As my titel says... I have in some games the problem, that I can't switch characters or transform.

I can get up the menu to see my groupmembers, but pressing the button for them does nothing.

I checked both settings for items, because "item reflect" is a prolly confusing wording for deactivating and activating items in a fight... .
Still I can't switch sometimes or transform, but sometimes it works... .

Are there already cheats out there hindering me to use transformation, because my opponent transformed in that fight.

same here, at first I thought that my keyboard was broken, but i change the settings of the transformations and still the same. It´s must be a bug or something because in others fights the controlles worked fine and without issues

i got the same problem. im playing on keyboard and mouse. lately i cant transform and or switch characters. it does show the menu but whenever i want to choose someone, nothing happens.

I've been getting this bug for the past 6 days as well, Playing on keyboard and Mouse. This new patch didn't only ruin Yajirobe too I guess, but also this! It sucks

same problem here at first i thought that i was in the middle of combos ar due to latency i am not able to transform.
later i tried to throw a match to see if i can transform or not.
the transformation panel pops up but nada.

This happen when you are player 2 in ranked matchs i think. It happens to me too, i play on KB.

I'm a keyboard player who is also unable to transform in PvP battles regardless of Items being on or off.

I'm having an issue specifically with broly when you transform into SS he just stands there charging without me holding any buttons down... Only way to get out of it is if i get hit by something or double click X on the ps controller....

I found a workaround! For whoever reads this:
The issue is that because you're on keyboard, for whatever odd reason there's a bug that doesn't allow P2 to transform or swap in DP and/or singles. You ahve to be host to be able to transform.

has a work around that maps your inputs onto controller inputs virtually to bypass it and read it as controller

to put it simply ur controler is broken.
