Keyboard + Mouse can't swap anymore when not hosting the game

Hello, it seems like it is now the turn of Keyboard + mouse player to not be able to neither swap nor transform whenever we are not hosting the game.
It seems like the game register us as P2?
However when hosting the game/playing in our map on ranked, it works flawlessly.

Did anyone encountered the same issue? If yes does anyone has a fix for that? I'd gladly take it (I won't play on controller unfortunatly...)

Dunno about hosting but i have same problem, no transformations, fusions or character swap for me, and yes before patch everything worked for me.

Yeah same, it was all good before the patch but now I can't do anything when i'm not playing on the map that I pick myself, don't know why it is the case but that's annoying...

Replying to say I have this same problem. Forced to leave matches because of it and now Im going to have low finish rate for ranked. really sucks

im in the same boat worked perfectly fine before the patch and now its completly broken if youre the p2 side

So basically
Map you choose = you are the host of the match
Their map = they are the host

So sounds like the patch introduced more lag when you are playing 'away games'
I am yet to have a good crack at this patch but I found the above to be the case during the last patch and I am outside of the USA so this was a real issue for me before.

It happens whenever you're not playing on "your map", what I mean by that is that if I pick Kaio lands and my opponent has picked Namek

- It will work on Kaio lands, I will be able to swap and transform
- I will not be able to swap or transform on Namek

I don't know if devs do see this, but if you do, please don't forget KBM community, I know you have a lot of controllers players, but it'll be sad to lose a part of your community because of unfixed bugs

Same issue for me, unplayable garbanzo.
Gon have to wait a month for a fix, if it even comes.

Typical Spike ChunSoft move... fix one thing, add more bugs to the other thing.
This game will never be bugfree with these incompetent devs. its over.
Not gonna wait another 3/4 weeks to get a game fix this is beyond stupid

Same here, works fine in Training, cant tag or transform in Online Matches.

Good to know that at least this bug is experienced by more people than just a few. I've had this issue too and after the third game out of which during two I couldn't transform I've just decided to drop ranked for another month.(Wanted to get into it a little bit more than a few ranked matches a week, but this time it was bugged and forced me to stop)

Only solution is to play ranked non DP with characters that don't transform.

Yep, we were already locked to singles due to the camera issue, and now we're also locked to non-transforming characters.
I'll just give it some time. There is still enough solo content for another double of my playtime so I'm not too worried.

hope the devs see this, also depends on input device, I play on keyboard and experience the bug, if I play on controller it never happens and everything is fine
