ranks dont mean a thing

im geting sick of queueing up for ranked (b5) and getting an a1-a5 opponent??/ like OBVIOUSLY hes way above me, its even worse when its cheese but that i know ill run into, alteast give me someone close to my rank

Do you keep it at similar rank or are your parameters set to "no limit" when you pick your queue settings? Sick of people complaining by shooting themselves in the foot then making surprised pikachu face when they bleed.

Compared to other fighting games besides Street Fighter this has the most players currently. but it is an anime game so i expect it to die soon. 70$ for this game is outrageous.

Even having it at similar rank still gives you opponents that are one to maybe 2 higher if generous. That is similar and comparative, and you're bothered? Are you arguing semantics that similar should be "same" because that isn't the case and you should know that by basic reading comprehension. You're upset at the game matchmaking as intended. But you'd also cry and be upset if someone told you switch it to lower rank if fighting people in the same bracket is skill capping you but you want to blame the game instead of yourself?

By higher I mean "letter rank" as far as semantics. Not Editing because that just gives more room to gaslight instead of being responsible. Did you spam Wheelo and after image/heal characters to cheese higher ranks and people who can actually fight are....actually fighting?

the thing is to few people play online. So the one who plays are already high rank and the new one dont have enemies in their ranks so they get ranked with higher ranks

Great point. People should understand online play is niche as it is with games that give you the option, and then to split it ranked wise just the same. But when you tell these people play player matches or change rank settings to lower instead of similar/no limit (while ignoring you more or less have to have that set to no limit for what you mentioned already) they get offended.

Ima keep it real with you I'm currently sitting at A3 and i gotta tell you everything is cheese.

If its not Yajirobe stall meta its teams of giants or teams of afterimage strike characters...

Its sad really but most of the roster isnt even viable past B ranks if you want to have a chance of climbing... I think spikechunsoft needs to address a lot of these things for the health of the game... And i say this as someone that's using Zbroly UI goku and Yajirobe.

i dont see "similair rank" as someone whos entire "letter" above me, that is FIVE ranks up, i do not consider 5 entire ranks "close" im not saying im the greatest player ever, but if ive queued SIMILAIR rank, im assuming im getting people at b5-1, not an a1, someone who is almost S
