Now that the honeymoon period is almost over, let's talk facts
For a 70 bucks game it has 2 "selling point modes" that are:
- Far worse single player content than Kakarot
- Much worse online experience than Fighterz

Let's start with
Single Player Content
tldr with static images is something Street Fighter... Actually no, even Street Fighter 6 has World Tour that is superior in every way to this. Static images + low video quality cutscenes are shameful in 2024 in a fully (I repeat) priced game.
Furthermore, fighting 1vs1 with AI combat never felt good, because it's either:
1. A.I. reading inputs to react like they're literal Gods
2. A.I. brain farts and does whatever in order for me to feel good about my (nonexistent compared to anyone actually good) skills
The "what if" scenarios add a nice chuckle, but they're fanficts that glue together a mess.

Multiplayer Content
There's "team battle" where the devs pretend that they rank characters based on their power by assigning to them a point, letting you accumulate a total of 15 points per team. This makes you feel like they have some arbitrary definition of "strong character" and "weak character".
And then you realize that sub-8 DP characters that can solo 13-15 DP TEAMS.
And then you realize that the concept of DP doesn't apply to singles, so it makes no sense for anyone to use half the roster (if not more) unless they want to enjoy beating people using strong characters who literally don't know how to play the game, or they enjoy losing. "Wow I'm having so fun going 0-25 tonight" said NO ONE EVER.

And then, the same publisher who early accessed AS A PRIVILEGE tells you to "just wait for the first patch bro", even to those who had the exact same technical problems during EA and were told to wait for the day 1 patch.

The only thing that's sure is, this game wouldn't even sell 100k copies if it was a random game and not the Dragon Ball IP. It's solely the IP who did the sales. It's Diablo 4 all over again, where it sold based by the legacy brand "Diablo", and not because it's better than PoE.

I also feel like there's a good bit of input lag. It's really noticeable when trying to use some abilities, but this makes me wonder every time I thought I timed a counter and get smacked.

They could have at least done voice-overs for the stills. It's weird that on a still with no audio, it will automatically skip to the next slide, but on the voiced segments you have to manually skip to the next line of dialogue. Seems backwards.

You also need to hold a button to start a match or back out of menus. When purchasing items you have to click, switch to "OK" or "confirm" or something, click again, basically there's a confirmation check. When using a Super Shenron Wish of which there are only 4, just one click and your wish consumed.

That's how I got Goku Black from Super Shenron lol.

Game definitely isn't worth $70, and they know they will sell a million plus because it's a flashy crisp looking DBZ game. There's seriously so many oversights, design flaws, and just bad game-making.

i have a feeling that the devs will abandon this game just like xenoverse 1, and a year later there will be another sparking game covering all the bad points of this game, the game will be much better but at the cost of paying huge money all over again.
