Vegeta's story mode ending at Buu?

I guess the title says everything. I got credits at the Buu Saga for Vegeta's episode battles. There's a feint trail leading forward though. Am I missing some obscure alternate win condition in that last episode or do they really not add any of Vegeta's Super fights like Beerus, Freeza, Frost, Toppo, etc.?

That's crazy. They keep him as a tag assist in Goku's ToP fights but you can't play any of his own? Those were some of the only fights where Vegeta gets concrete Ws in the entire series. Sad times.

Although to be fair they didn't do him as dirty as they did Piccolo. Doesn't even get to the end of the android saga before you get credits. Insane work.

At least they didn't forget about it, they added it as a special grab but I wanted his rush attack beating GB into the ground

Yeah, I really liked that they made it a dedicated super in Fighterz because it really was one of the craziest new moves he pulled out.

Yeah, outside of Goku some characters got done dirty. Not counting what ifs Piccolo ends at imperfect Cell, Vegeta ends at Buu, Gohan starts at Cell, and Trunks starts all the way at Goku Black. The only episodes that felt reasonable were the villains because lets be honest just how flexible can you be with the likes of Zamasu and Jiren?

However combining the total length of all of the story modes combined with the shenanigans you can get to in custom battle I feel like it is alright.

Yeah, Jiren isn't even a thing until the Tournament of power, same with Zamasu and his arc. But Future Trunks I'm surprised we didn't get to see chop up Mecha Freeza and King Cold since they have the models for them. I would've loved to do Future Trunks timeline stuff as well, 17 and 18, then imperfect cell, then the Dabura fight he told Goku about. Tons of story to play there and they have the models for all of those fights.

He's my favourite in Super. Definitely depends on the arc in Z.

He was only the second main character in the Buu Saga. In the Saiyan Saga he was the main villain, in the Freeza saga he was tragic set dressing and in the Cell Saga, he was a plot device to let Cell reach his perfect form when Toriyama wrote himself into a corner.

Now look I love the guy but outside of the Saiyan Saga, Buu Saga and Super he's just there to get beaten up on and move the plot forward.
