Input lag, commands don't register.

I've been playing this game a while now, and I have noticed that the game straight up won't pick my inputs I have to press a couple of time to register an action ( i have steam input off since game has native dual sense support,) it doesn't help.
For example on any kind of panels ( evolution, powerup/skill, switch, or emote ) powerup dash and block these one are affected too,
on evolution I have enough points to trigger a transformation and for switch the switch meter is full but no I have to spam that button x5 or x6 times for me to transform or switch
and wen i power up the is a notable delay ( almost a full second ) between the full press and the action on the screen.
This gets worse the more I play, for example in training mode.
I cant play like this online, and i wont play until they fix this mess, i hope i'm not the only one with these issues.

you're not the only one. i have lost a lot of ranked battles because while the enemy fly away my char simply doesnt do ♥♥♥♥ and only keep doing the perception move instead of the supreme.

yeah, it's a common issue I fear, it happens to me too but mostly on online matches.

yep. i got periods of 0 issues and periods of delay and mis(sed)inputs. its insane.

It's definitely not a controller or keyboard issue, this game is wack when it comes to inputs and input delay

heres a fix I figured out. don't use an xbox controller use a playstation contoller. swear to god I never had problems vanishing or blocking again. you are very correct. the controller input were never fixed they just blatently lied about it. we are all still havin this problem its annoying af
