Are we ready to admit that IGN was right?
Now that everything is said and done and a week has passed for all the hype to die down, are some of us more willing to accept the fact that a 7/10 was a completely reasonable and fair score for this game?

Sure IGN has given other titles that do not deserve it similar scores but for this game specifically...? A 7/10 is very fair, hell it might even be a bit too high for the state of the game we got.

Why would I take the opinions of fanboys like yourself and a shill who was literally part of the pre-release advertising with more any of a grain of salt than my own judgement having spent a week with the game?

"Anime gaming community" please don't make me laugh

Selling well isn't a measure of quality fanboy

CoD and Battlefield games are usually the most successful shooting game titles and most people who aren't brain dead aren't giving the latest titles 10/10s.
Imagine that, making games for people that like the game. Mind blowing.

What's there is good there just isn't enough of it and the amount of modes and no tag team co op options or real time co op is disappointing.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if I've been a Dragonball fan longer than you've been alive

Only fanboys uncritically lap down slop. The singe player content is genuinely mediocre at best and the mutliplayer gameplay is broken and unfun once you're out of the scrub ranks and can see what a poorly designed cheese fest the game is. Getting mad at me and crying about "trolling" won't change that this game is a hard 6-7/10 in its current state

Your main post is about trying to convince people IGN was right which means taking their word instead. Are you going to listen to Kotaku next? Gaming "journalists" are not journalists. With multiple ways to see weather forecasts, like on phones, weather presenters almost become obsolete and yet those people plus their profession are much more important than "game journalists".

That seems physically.. impossible my guy. I'll let you figure out why.

Game has not only massive flaws and oversights but it's really just lacking in story and depth. 7/10 is fair.
Vindice Oct 19, 2024 @ 11:12am
the saddest thing abt db games are that fans will purposesly ignore or straight up eat up slop that bandai gives them, then call games trash but have the same issues. I enjoy sparking zero but saying its currently anywhere above a 7-8 is just ignorance.

It's not about taking their word fanboy. it's about playing the game for a week since its early access release and coming to the same exact conclusions about the game and giving it the same score. IGN is terrible and game journalism is a joke, doesn't mean their score was wrong. This game is about a 7/10 if it's lucky, crying about "game journalists" won't change that

Fanboy. There's that term again. You're not different than those that call everyone an -ist that goes against you. I even said the game wasn't perfect which means I don't mind it being seen as above average in rating. Maybe learn to vote with your wallet and time if a product doesn't appeal to you. Or is that too much for you to do and you need to make sure everyone hears your voice and agrees with you?

It's not about the product not appealing to me champ. I wouldn't have bought it if it didn't and I wasn't allured by the nostalgia of a new Tenkaichi game. The problem is that the product I was sold was legitimately mediocre in its current state.

Again the fact that some of you can't handle reading that without bursting into tears and bending over backwards to disprove a subjective opinion isn't my fault

So what you're saying is that you have weak self control and couldn't stop yourself from pre-ordering or buying early without waiting to see vids on how the game was. How exactly is that a better look?

Never tried to disprove your opinion. I literally said I agreed a potential "above average = 7" rating was correct. Illiteracy isn't a good trait to keep, guy.

Only real bad thing connection error, the game itself is great. And i guess classic controls if you're too stupid to move onto the new standard.

I'm upset about connection issues too but i'm not going to try to turn the community against the game. :steamsalty:

this is pure facts, besides the classic controls lol

this guy has not played online btw

whether or not i've played online does not matter in response to the original message i sent since it is not "my review" of the game its "globku's review"

and the only reason i have not played online is due to the communication error bug which i am pretty annoyed about, good thing is that it may be getting fixed with the new upcoming patch and if it does i'm 100% grinding online no there's no tomorrow with the ginyu force
