Who's responsible for the roster?

I'm pretty much at the beginning. I did one fight of Goku's story, then started Gohan's and did a few matches.

So a friend told me that Pikkon wasn't in the game. Alright, kinda sucks because he was a pretty cool character in the anime, but whatever. Then as I'm playing through Gohan's story, I get the pop-ups saying "Spopavich unlocked as a character". I turned the game off, lol.

I'm going to play again. I was just flabbergasted that him and Babaddi are playable characters, but Pikkon isn't. Maybe it's because Pikkon was anime only(?). I'm not too familiar with the roster, so I don't know if all of the characters are from the manga. If so, then that would make sense.

Pretty much as you said, Pikkon was just made up for filler episodes and wasn't in the manga. I'm sure he'll appear as DLC eventually but surely that's not your only reason for playing right?

well considering he was namekian if in not mistaken and in hell or other world. he may end up being a diama dlc character

He was based on piccolo but he's not namekian, he's from another galaxy. would like to see a story about the dude who killed him though.

him being filler isn't a reason to put him in the game, all movie characters are non-canon (except Broly, take that haters). Plus this game has What If's so, yeah.

i'm sure he'll be in a DLC, though don't be surprised if its DLC Pass 2 just to milk you for another $50.

Also take a look at where Spopavich is on the roster. Seems they added him last minute and originally didn't plan to put him in, cuz if they did he'd be right beside Babidi and Dabura. The only reason Spopavich is in the game is so that people can do the What If with Gohan.
It's a cool reason sure, but I WANT TO BEAT UP PUI PUI.


Ill also say that, most of these characters are just there for us to beat up. I don't think anyone is playing Android 13 because they think he's a cool character. There's never been a Bojack fan boy. The entire Ginyu Force are all fodder, the only one you might play is Burter for the memes or Ginyu for the cheese. no one is going to play chaotzu or yamcha except for the luls. if you really think about it they put a lot of work into characters they know no one cares about, but we still expect them in the game just to give us variety of enemies to fight, not necessarily because we want to play as them. no one is going to play spopavich, no one is going to play pui pui, but we will beat them for sure tho.

The first set of 4 DLC will not be having him unfortunatly. It's super hero movie, then all Daima daima daima.

He's in Xenoverse 2, glad they add side characters, but the one's people want.

Wouldn't it be a nice surprise if they added missing characters and maps from BT3 as free updates in between the season pass releases. Except we all know Bandai would never do that. Oh well.

Sucks that Xenoverse 2 has you play as a created character. Ruined the game for me. If I could play as Cumber through the whole game or GT goku etc. I'd have been more happy with it. It's also missing a ton of SDBH characters aside from Cumber.

Well, that is why Parralell quests are my favorite and what edges me over sparking, insane what ifs.

But I agree on the fact many of the map stuff is your character, It would be amazing if you could choose from the roster for the main story, and the map quests people give you.

Ideally we'd have a game where you have the in depth story of XV2 with every available character for the mode. So like a mix between the two but deeper. I feel like they don't give us everything we want in a game so that we have to keep buying them lol.

"This one has everything you wanted in the other game so buy this too!" type of deal.

Sorry, I don't quite get it.. You already knew he wasn't in it but was surprised he wasn't in it? Then you were surprised Spopavich and Babidi were when they're crucial to the plot?

I mean sure.. Spopovich was only there for a few episodes and didn't say much but that fight with Videl is burned into my brain as one of the most brutal in DBZ.

Who's knows which characters will be in this game in 3+ years time but hopefully Pikkon, King Piccolo, Cymbal, Tambourine, Drum, Android 14, 15, 21, Pui Pui, Yakon, Basil, Lavender, Rilldo, All shadow dragons etc
