Daima characters are going to ruin the game.

As if anyone wants chibi-ized characters. We want Frieza Black, Moro, Granolah. We want cut characters from the older games or original DB characters. I am not speaking on Daima as an anime, only that many of us in the west do not care about chibi art. Maybe there is a great in universe explanation for it, but without context, and even with, it looks silly and takes slots away from loved characters that people actually want. When everyone is bored of playing the same characters, and the only new ones that come out are all mini, yeah that could be the actual nail in the coffin.

It wouldnt surprise me. I dont think they have ever released a character in any dragonball game that was only in the manga and not the anime.

I personally cannot stand 'chibi' style character design and cannot comprehend how making cool characters look like little derptastic versions of themselves ever took off.

But I don't know how Daima could ruin the game.

Not liking GT doesn't even make sense at this point. I think the only people who don't like GT gotta be people in their 40s or 50s. I grew up when GT was airing. I get that it wasn't canon for a long time because "Toriyama didn't work on it" but that's actually quite false, and while he did say he didn't do all the work or the main work, he was present or asked about this or that to give his input. He didn't have final say, and somethings weren't to his liking so he said stuff like "I don't like ss4 designs" and what not, but what people have to accept now (like we have to accept Daima as canon) is that GT is now considered not main-alternate timeline canon. If it wasn't canon, they wouldn't add it to the game. Characters like android 21 are not in the game nor will they be because they are not real characters that exist in any universe. GT characters exist, just only in alternate timeline multiverse.

i havent watch the show but iv read it takes place either between cell games and buu saga or right after the buu saga. either way its going to add a buch of middling power level characters.

I agree i don't care for DB Daime.
But still, we don't know everything about the series and future characters/transformations.

But let's not forget that is ONLY wave 1 of DLC.

I have no worries about the next waves will allow us to add a roster more suited to our expectations
