How to counter Ki-Blast spam in higher ranks? .. i mean literally spam. (S Rank)
Hey so i just had a few matches back to back against A17 (super) and A18 plus another android.

all they did was spam ki blasts, i cooked them in closed combat and literally everything else but once they got the skill points they just continued to spam ki blasts and enter the sparking mode with A17 (he has a skill for that) so he literally never ran out of ki blast spams. once one ran out of ki and i cooked him, he switched to another android and started spaming ki blasts.

because the androids dont stop to regenerate ki they have MUCH more ki for ki blasts than anyone else and once they are in the sparking mode all they do is circle you and spam ki blasts endlessly.

is there anything you can do against that? Blocking/Deflecting doesnt work when they circle you. You still get like 60% of all the dmg and they can just do it for 80% of the game.

that works against ki blasts? i played the picollo training in the early access and remember its doable on a certain distance so maybe thats what i had to do.

for some reason when i was in C-B rank i started to rarely use revenge counter. Should start doing it more again.

there's that yet if you deflect ki blasts with the block button, it builds up your skill points even quicker, if you're flying around you can also deflect while moving

i tried to move while deflecting/blocking (i tried to move backwards while facing him so he cant circle me) but he then started to mix in charged ki blasts and somehow after that and more spam, my character wouldnt move anymore while blocking. His team was purely build to do just the ki spam and he is in S2 so.. that strategy seems to work more often than it doesnt.

but like i said i never tried revenge counter so maybe it was a skill issue on my part if revenge counter can punish that, even on a distance.

charge ki blasts? you can reflect those with proper timing using the block button as well but you'll need to time it & even then it might not always work depending on the blast such as Piccolo's
yet if they don't reflect after that, they'll get hit by their own blast

Revenge counters still a good mixup but try not to do it too much in general, otherwise it can get predictable & end up wasting more skill points
also when you're flying with an aura around you (that is dragon rush) you should be immune to ki blasts but it can burn up a lot of your own ki as well

said skill points can also be used to deflect beams such as Gallick Gun, Final Flash, or Kamehameha while using perception if you have iirc at least 2 skill points
