Implent 144hz and 144fps!
I know there is a possibility to edit the engine.ini to get this, but then you are excluded from playing online.

I hate playing with 60hz.

This should be a major topic to work on. How can we live in 2024 and have a 60hz locked and 60fps locked game?

Fix this please.

yep

The game speed is directly tied to the framerate, sadly. That's why those who can't reach 60 get slowdowns. There is a mod to uncap your framerate but I haven't tested it. I know for a fact that it instantly disconnects you if you try to play online with it though. I imagine it might also make timing counters harder, but I have no idea.

I don't see them ever officially implementing it.

You've CLEARLY never played a fighting game online. They have fixed framerates for a reason.
If one user is playing at 144Hz they have advantages over players playing at 60Hz.
This is also why games like Injustice 2 had benchmarks to make sure you can hold the framerates needed to play online.

tl;dr: never gonna happen

That's the reality of >every< online game. Set a new standard, go for 144fps.

Even in counterstrike back in 2000 you had an advantage having more fps, till this day.

Uh, so you seen that lovely slow down thing in online? Yeah, you want that all the time? No? Then don't mess with the FPS settings. Higher FPS has an advantage, but it has to alter to be the same FPS as the other person. So, if you go up against someone with 45 and you have 144, you're going to feel like neo in the matrix.

So let's say hypothetically speaking you get your wish. Congrats, 144 fps is the native for the game. Now you gotta play with all those other people online with weaker PCs who can't reach that framerate and the majority of your matches will be in slow motion.

First of all, the framerate flops in this game are not related to not reaching the 60fps.

I play with stable 144fps and get them, as also when I play with 60fps.

2nd... its the same thing like in games where people couldn reach the 60fps in the past... you lower your settings.

>somewhen< it has to go on and progress... .

I play at 240 fps with Lossless Scaling its not perfect but way better than default 60 fps the difference is night and day

You really can't read, can you? I'm not talking about framerate flops. People have told you ten times over the speed of the game online is tied to your FPS. If you're hitting 144 (and hypothetically the game is natively 144 fps), and some guy is struggling to hit even 100, there is going to be slowdowns. How many times do you need this spelled out for you before you can understand it?

Yea, but you can't play with others like this. You will get Disconnection when the fight starts.

Yes dude, I know this.
I'm talking about the fact, that we live in 2024 and games are still tied to 60fps.
I'm talking about making progress in the whole damn genre... .

It works online too.
Its the only way and you are welcome, try it yourself.

huh, how you do it?
You didn tweak the engine.ini?

I have lossless scaling, but I don't understand how it would regulate the 60fps to 240

Think logically. Dragon Ball is a massive franchise with players all over the world. A lot of those people don't have powerful PCs but persevere and play ♥♥♥♥ anyway. It's about bigger sales. If more people can play at a steady framerate, that's more sales and more people can enjoy it. 60 fps is a reasonable framerate to achieve on most PCs.
