In about half of the online games I can't swap character

I play DP ranked, and in about half of the matches, I can't swap out characters.

The yellow swap symbol is fully charged, I have skill points, I'm not currently under attack, but when I press left on the D-pad, the menu doesn't show up. When that happens, I can't swap character for the entirety of the match.

This happens regularly - in about 50% of my matches. When it does work, it works reliably. When it doesn't work, it doesn't work for the entire match.

Anyone else have this bug?

It happens to me alot. Its very annoying. I am trying to see if anyone has figured out why.

same here. So annoying because waste so much time trying end up losing crucial moments

i switched to 1v1’s for now, DP is not fun if the game just bugs out like that

I wonder if a Ability bug exist and people use brolys ring in ranked.. i cant swap every second game

Happening on ps5 too. Just shut the game down and hit Google up for answers. No one seems to know

Not only have I had this bug, it doesn't seem to always affect the other player (Just had a really annoying DP battle because of this). Also sometimes had it when playing with friends and it *might* have been because of different control layouts, but it wasn't consistent.
